What it is about
Germany, 1980: women's football is no longer banned, but it is still frowned upon. When Taiwan hosts the first unofficial women's football World Cup, the German Football Association opposes any German participation.
Yet the players of SSG Bergisch Gladbach 09, record champions of German women's football, refuse to be discouraged and fight together for their dream.
The world premiere takes place in November 2026 at Depot 1 in Cologne-Mülheim.
