What it is about
In 1988 Leonard Bernstein and Herbert von Karajan meet, in Last Call at least. Peter Danish invents an encounter that never took place, and lets two men collide who could hardly be more different: one exuberant, political, loud; the other controlled, distant, aloof.
What begins as a polite conversation turns into a battle of words about art, vanity and morality, and about the question of which of the two proves right in the end.
